Kevin Murphy or as we call him in Tampa, "Murph", was an American football linebacker who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the San Diego Chargers and the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League. He was converted from defensive lineman to linebacker in the NFL. He played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners. Murphy was an All-Conference selection in 1982, 1983 and 1985 and an All-American in 1985. Like many of the players who have been with the Buccaneers, Kevin remained in Tampa after his football career was over. Why not? No state income tax, sun and fun year round! Great schools for the kids.
